In addition to his Civil War Leaders books, artist Jared Frederick has a variety of projects in the works.

Books

• Historic Pennsylvania will be an illustrated guide to the Keystone State's historic treasures. Being released this May!
• The 7th Pennsylvania Cavalry - is a commissioned book requested by the group leaders of the regiment's descendant group. It will feature highlights of the unit's colorful history as well as detailed descriptions of the events they experienced.
• Gettysburg Tidbits will be Jared's first full length book and will discuss little known facts and human interest stories of one of America's most historic towns.
• 101 Pennsylvania Civil War Sites will be a handy guide to Pennsylvania battlefields, museums, historic homes and more!
• Harpers Ferry: The Crossroads of History - will feature notable people, events, and historic sites that have made Harpers Ferry, West Virginia one of the most unique towns in our country.
• The Battle of the Little Bighorn - is another commissioned work requested by the Friends of the Little Bighorn Battlefield. It will be a coloring book of the battle that will be sold at the park.
• Sometime in the near future, Jared hopes to complete illustrated books on both Penn State Football.

Paintings

Jared is currently painting a large scene of the Battle of Hunterstown that took place in Gettysburg on July 2, 1863. This is the first time that this part of the battle has been depicted in art. On July 2, 2008, the painting will be unveiled by the Hunsterstown Historical Society on the battlefield at the same time of the new monument. Hope to see you there!
