History Matters publishes historic artwork and books for collectors and readers of all ages. Welcome to the website!

Since 2005, History Matters has published a number of books designed for people of all ages. These works include Civil War Leaders, More Civil War Leaders, and Historic Pennsylvania. Our books and cards are available in single copies and larger quantities for retail sale on our website and 75 sites nationwide.

The artwork and books are the productions of Jared Frederick, a 2010 Penn State graduate and current graduate student at West Virginia University who completed his first two books while still in High School.
